How Magemen handles information you send us through magemen.com, the project enquiry form, and client work across our United States, New Zealand, and Pakistan offices.
Last updated · 12 August 2026
Magemen is a senior ecommerce development agency. We build and scale B2B and DTC storefronts on Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce, and we engineer ERP, PIM, and API integrations that have to survive real order volume. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
If you only want to start a project, use the enquiry form. If this policy does not answer a data question, that same form is the right place to ask.
1. Who we are
In this policy, “Magemen”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the Magemen team operating magemen.com and delivering ecommerce services from offices in Little Rock, Arkansas (United States); Epsom, Auckland (New Zealand); and Johar Town, Lahore (Pakistan). Work often moves follow-the-sun across those offices so an incident does not wait for one timezone to open.
This site is published at www.magemen.com.
2. What this policy covers
It covers personal information we handle when you:
- Browse magemen.com, including light/dark theme preference stored in your browser
- Submit the “Start a Project” form (name, work email, platform, budget, project brief)
- Email or book a 15-minute assessment after an enquiry
- Become a client and share store, catalog, or integration details so we can do the work
It does not replace the confidentiality and data-processing terms in a statement of work. If you sign one, that document controls for project data.
3. Information we collect
Enquiries
The homepage contact form asks for:
- Name
- Work email
- Platform interest (Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or not sure yet)
- Budget range ($25–50k, $50–100k, $100k+, or retainer)
- A short project brief — what you are building, migrating, or fixing
We use that to reply within one business day with a real plan, timeline, and number — not to build a marketing list.
Site preference
The theme toggle stores magemen-theme in localStorage on your device so the site stays dark or light on the next visit. That value never leaves your browser. We do not use it to identify you.
Technical data
Like any website, our host may log IP address, browser type, and requested URLs for security and uptime. magemen.com does not currently run third-party advertising pixels or a marketing analytics suite on the public pages.
Client engagements
Once we are hired, you may give us access to Magento / Adobe Commerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, PIMs, 3PLs, staging credentials, catalogs, and order history. We treat that as confidential project data, used only to deliver the scoped work (builds, replatforms, Hyvä or headless frontends, ERP connectors, audits, retainers).
4. How we use it
- To assess fit and reply to enquiries
- To prepare proposals, statements of work, and retainers
- To staff work across US, NZ, and PK timezones
- To deliver, test, and support the storefronts and integrations you hired us for
- To keep records we are legally required to keep (invoices, contracts)
We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry briefs to train public AI models.
5. Sharing
We share information only when needed to run the business or the project:
- Magemen engineers and producers in the offices named above
- Infrastructure and email providers that host this site or our mail
- Platform vendors you already use (Adobe, Shopify, BigCommerce, Woo, NetSuite, SAP, and similar) when the job requires it
- Professional advisers or authorities if the law requires it
Published marketplace apps (for example on the Shopify App Store or Adobe Commerce Marketplace) have their own listings and, where required, their own privacy notices. This policy is for magemen.com and agency engagements.
6. International transfers
Enquiries and project work may be accessed from the United States, New Zealand, and Pakistan. That is how follow-the-sun delivery works. If you are in the UK, EU, Australia, or elsewhere, your information may leave your country so we can answer you and ship the work. We limit access to people on the engagement.
7. Retention
- Unsuccessful enquiries: kept long enough to finish the conversation and for a short follow-up window, then deleted or archived with the rest of ordinary business email
- Clients: kept for the life of the engagement and for the period invoices, tax, and warranty need
- Theme preference: until you clear site data in your browser
8. Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold information about you
- Correct it
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive a copy of enquiry data you sent us
Send the request to info@magemen.com from the same work email you used originally, or name the enquiry so we can find it. We may need to verify it is you before we change or delete anything.
9. Security
We use access control, least-privilege credentials on client systems, and the same engineering discipline we apply to checkout and ERP pipelines. No internet transmission is perfectly secure. Do not put production admin passwords in the public enquiry form — we will set up a proper channel once we are talking.
10. Children
magemen.com is a B2B site for ecommerce operators. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
If we change how we handle information in a material way, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you have read the new version.
12. Contact
Privacy questions: info@magemen.com, or use the contact form on magemen.com. You can also find us on LinkedIn and Facebook.
